Curriculum & Lesson Plans

Below you can find Eckley’s new curriculum, a curriculum that will evolve so that it stays relevant to what your students/children are learning in school and interesting for the community at large. Our curriculum is broken down into four (4) units – Immigration/Immigrant Experience (19th Century), Coal/Coal Mining, In the Coal Patch – 19th Century Life, and Career Enrichment – Working in a Museum.

Please use one or all of the lesson plans and activities for your educational purposes. These education resources build on one another to present a narrative, or can stand alone.
