2026 Homeschool Hangout – Archaeology – Eckley Miners' Village Museum

Wednesday, September 16, 10am – 2pm

Home school and cyber school families are invited to join us for a day of exploration and hands-on fun. This year’s theme is archaeology. From 10am – 2pm, youth (or, families) will work in teams to complete challenges, investigate artifacts, and document architecture and plant life to “save the village.” Through hands-on activities, themed stations, and game play, participants will dive into history, STEELS, archeology, life skills, historical analysis, mathematics, and more to gain an appreciation for Eckley Miners’ Village as an important historical and archeological site.
