Eckley Miners’ Village Museum is a site run by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in partnership with the Eckley Miners’ Village Associates.

Become a Volunteer

Become a part of Eckley’s volunteer program to explore new experiences, meet new people, and be a part of history, all while helping save the past. The Eckley museum provides a family-friendly environment for adults and children of all ages and backgrounds to learn about the immigrant coal mining families who worked and lived in northeastern Pennsylvania.
